This is an information website for a licensed California C-10 electrical contractor. Reading it, or calling us to talk about a job, does not by itself create a contract. Work begins once you have a written proposal from us setting out the scope, the price and the payment terms, and you approve it. Everything on this site is background and general guidance, not a binding offer.

Huntington Beach EV Charger is a licensed California C-10 electrical contractor based in Huntington Beach, California. We install, upgrade and repair EV charging equipment for single-family homes, workplaces, and multi-family and HOA properties in Huntington Beach and the surrounding Orange County cities listed on our service areas page. We do not sell vehicles, we are not affiliated with any vehicle manufacturer, and we are not your electric utility.

You are welcome to read these pages, print them and send the link to anyone. The text, photographs and page layouts are ours or are used with permission, so please do not lift them onto another contractor's site, scrape them for republication, or feed them into a service that resells them as its own work. Please also do not attempt to interfere with the site, its hosting or its security.

EV charging work depends on things no web page can see: the size and condition of your panel, the length and route of the circuit, the age of the wiring, what else in the building is already drawing load, and what the local inspector will want to see. The guidance here exists to help you ask better questions and recognize a straight answer. It is not a substitute for a licensed electrician looking at your property, and it is not instructions for doing high-voltage work yourself.

A number given on the phone is an estimate based on what you have described. A firm price comes in a written proposal, after we have seen the panel and the cable route in person or through photographs detailed enough to be reliable. A written proposal is valid for the period stated on the proposal itself. If we lift a panel cover, open a wall or trench a run and find a condition nobody could have known about in advance, we stop, tell you what we found, and price the extra work with you before carrying on, rather than adding it to your invoice afterwards.

The phone number on this site is answered every day from 7am to 5pm Pacific, and calls may be logged so a job can be scheduled, quoted and followed up correctly. Arrival times are windows rather than exact appointments, because the job ahead of yours can run long or an inspector can arrive late. If we are running behind, you get a call. Messages left outside call hours are returned the next working day, and noisy or permitted work is carried out inside the hours your city allows.

Where a permit is required, we pull it and we schedule the inspection. That means the work is not finished until it has been inspected, and the inspection date is set by the building department rather than by us. In return, you agree to give us safe access to the panel, the meter, the parking area and the wall where the charger goes, to confirm that you have the authority to approve work at that property, and to get any landlord or HOA approval the property needs.

Our labor and workmanship are warranted on the terms written into your proposal and invoice, so that document is the one to read rather than this page. Chargers, breakers, panels and other hardware carry the manufacturer's own warranty, and we will help you file a claim under it. Warranty cover does not extend to damage caused by another trade, by later changes made by someone else, by a surge or storm, or by using equipment in a way its manufacturer does not permit.

Deposits, progress payments, final payment and cancellation terms are set out in your written proposal, together with any cancellation rights California law gives you for that type of contract. Work you add or change after we have started is quoted as a written change order and approved before it is carried out. If a booked date has to move, call as early as you can so the crew and the equipment can be redirected to someone else.

We stand behind the work we perform. We are not responsible for problems we did not cause, for decisions made from general information on this site without a site visit, or for the content of any outside website we link to. Nothing on this page limits a right you hold under California law or under the license we work by. These terms are governed by California law, and disputes are handled in the state courts serving Orange County, California. A complaint about a licensed contractor can also be taken to the California Contractors State License Board.
